Butler Model

My final posed character for my AGM5203.2 Character Creation Project for my 3D Game Art and Animation course at SAE University.

Butler is from the webcomic Romatically Apocalyptic (http://romanticallyapocalyptic.com/). I got permission from both Butler's concept designer (https://www.deviantart.com/vombavr) and the webcomic artist Vitaly Alexius (https://www.deviantart.com/alexiuss).
For my project, I had to create a 3D, posed character, which I then placed into my environment for my other project. I decided to make it a volcanic environment as Butler seems like a useful robot for manoeuvring through high-risk areas, and the comic often features areas based on locations with high volcanic activity like Iceland.

This took...a long time, as I had to draw, model, re-top, texture and pose a character for the first time (this was actually in process before I made Mothman).

I know I can improve, but I'm happy with him for my first ever model.
Now I'm finally putting him up on ArtStation!
